With more than 40 years of combined experience in public relations and marketing communications – both at major public relations agencies and with their own business – Barb Harris and Sharon Kreher have extensive experience in the retail, food & beverage, non-profit, and consumer products industries.

Their strengths lie in sound strategic planning and their ability to effectively develop and manage the execution of communications projects – i.e., radio promotions, media relations, and community relations -- in markets throughout the United States.

teamworks, with offices in Phoenix and St. Louis, is a founding member of PRConsultantsGroup, a national affiliation of independent public relations consultants (www.prconsultantsgroup.com). teamworks utilized PRCG to provide solutions to several of our national clients, including Cold Stone Creamery, T-Mobile, Relax The Back, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, and Barnes & Noble.com.

In 2006, teamworks executed a nine-month local market media relations program for Cold Stone Creamery, managing 28 consultants and generating more than 250 million media impressions during that period. Relax The Back partnered with teamworks in 2006 and 2007 for a national trade and consumer media relations program, as well as local market media relations in support of grand openings. teamworks has also tapped consultants in the Group for local market projects for T-Mobile and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. In 2000 and 2001, teamworks used the network to garner publicity for the national tour of Barnes & Noble.com, a traveling exhibit visiting more than 25 cities across the country.

Currently, teamworks serves as public relations counsel for America’s largest convenience store chain, 7-Eleven, in Phoenix and St. Louis, managing local market promotions, including radio promotions, grand openings, and media relations. teamworks also works with Blockbuster in Phoenix and St. Louis, developing and coordinating radio and television promotions, special events, grand openings, and media relations. teamworks also produces donor newsletters for the St. Louis Area Foodbank.

Before joining forces as teamworks, Barb and Sharon worked together at a regional public relations agency where they developed and managed a media relations campaign to publicize the introduction of 50 new ice cream products at one time for Good Humor/Breyers Ice Cream. This campaign earned a Bronze Quill award. For that same client, they executed a national publicity program for the 70th anniversary of the Good Humor ice cream bar. They also coordinated the introduction of Einstein Bros. Bagels to the St. Louis market, generating more than three million impressions during the one-month campaign.

Prior to that, Barb worked for Edelman Public Relations Worldwide. She is a graduate of Purdue University. Sharon is a graduate of St. Louis University and worked at Hill & Knowlton and Maritz Performance Improvement Company.
