For almost two decades, 7-Eleven turned to teamworks in Phoenix and St. Louis to handle their local market publicity, special events and promotional programs.
teamworks hosted grand openings and franchisee changeovers, created impactful radio promotions, and generated press coverage for:
- 7-Eleven’s birthday on July 11.
- Indy race car visits.
- New product launches.
- Movie tie-ins.
- Operation Chill (community relations).
We worked closely with local market managers and field consultants, developing the best programs for our specific markets and individual stores:
- Morning show “about the town” TV reporters loved us for our fun, unique story ideas, such as making a reporter a store employee for the morning (complete with their own smock) to celebrate 7-Eleven Day and give free Slurpees to customers.
- We routinely tied into national movie premieres with local radio stations, giving their listeners (our customers) great 7-Eleven movie memorabilia prizes in return for a promotional presence with our client’s key messages.
