At the #TempeMission launch, representatives from all five agencies, along with DTA members, held a ribbon-cutting at one of the nine “Mission Meters” placed around downtown where people can make donations of change and via credit card to the fundraising. Everyone then went to nearby Gordon Biersch Brewing where the new “Mill’s Mission” IPA beer was tapped. This beer was a collaboration between three local breweries and all proceeds of their sales will go to the program.
